This wonderful couple were referred to me and it was an absolute pleasure to be of service to them. They were really a great Bride & Groom. They new exactly what they wanted and trusted me with their special images. They had some beautiful weather on the day and the sun was extremely co-operative. It was a great day. There are some 700 images altogether, and these of course a just a small selection. They were married at St Pauls Church in Castle Hill and the reception was at Springfield House Function centre, and the park shots were at the beautiful Fagan Park in Galston, North West of Sydney.

Anthea & Matthew - March 2008

Sorry if I am backtracking in the date department, it is all to do with how many images I have taken and the time it takes to get through them, to process and prepare the images ready to print. Heather & Maka only had 120 images as their reception is this weekend where as the wedding for Anthea & Matthew in this post were 600 odd to work through. Anthea and Matthew are a great couple who got married in Leura in the Blue Mountains West of Sydney a couple of weeks ago. They went to Sunset rock for their pictures and the reception was at a little cottage in Blackheath which was simply gorgeous. The surrounds and the cottage were amazing. I even saw an honest to goodness bat. Not a flying fox which are plentiful near where I live, it was the first actual small bat I had ever physically seen -wonderful creature, which must have been attracted to the food and started flying around the cottage. I really enjoyed the opportunity of being of service to Anthea & Matthew in this photographic capacity and love their images, I was grateful they chose me to create. May they have a long and prosperous life together.

Heather & Maka - April 2008
On Friday night last, I was able to photograph a wonderful couple Heather and Maka who got married, late that evening, that rapidly became night. What makes this different is that I had never done a wedding where the Bride and Groom came out of the church so late before. It severely limited my shooting opportunities on one hand and heightened my senses to look for other opportunities that were around on the other. I was really pleased with what I captured. It was a great feeling to be stretched differently to ensure their images are special for their lives. Here is a couple of them. They got married on Friday night and their reception will be next Saturday. Different, but no pressure on the couple at all, they were relaxed and simply a delight to work with. They are a handsome couple and I really enjoyed spending time with them.

The Following pictures were just added to the post as The reception happened a week after the wedding pictures above. The ones below were taken by one of my protege's Rebecca Howard. She ahs done a few weddings with me and I had Kate & Derek's wedding above on the same day the reception occurred.
