Katherine & Brendan Oct 2009

Katherine & Brendan are such a fun couple. I had a lot of wonderful moments at this wedding it would be hard to list them all. The weather was so co-operative and lovely, the light was generous and the company was tremendous. It did not dawn on me for some time that Katherine's parents even taught at my High School, and I even saw my wonderful Biology teacher at the wedding and reception. From the wedding in All Saints Church in Parramatta to the lovely ambience of yesteryear at Old Government House in Parramatta, Australia's oldest Vice-regal residence since 1812, the history and the setting were perfect. The hospitality, the food, and the guests all blended together for what will be for me, a very memorable wedding. The speeches were touching and genuine. Dee, the father of the groom, charged the newly weds to not live with fear, and never be afraid to reach for your dreams and goals. He said they should "Trust the process of life and go forward". Sage advice and exactly what we all needed to hear and remember. All the best to the both of you, I sense a very big future for you. Thank you for choosing me to cover your beautiful wedding.

There is a picture below of the bride sitting on the lounge chair in her home with a baby next to her. It is a montage of two pictures. The baby is actually the bride who had been pictured sitting in the same chair when very young, and in consultation with them, I created this image.

Yennie & David October 09

Yennie & David are newly weds who had the simplest wedding I have seen in a long time. The whole time I spent with them and the bridal party was brief but very gratifying. The weather has changed in Sydney from lush warm days to cold windy and wet days overall. Yennie & David got married in Wollongong and went to the Botanical Gardens and the old Lighthouse to have their pictures done. I must comment on how wonderful the Bridal party was, they never complained though they were cold and wet, yet their spirits were high and their smiles ever present. I hope they like these pictures. Overall I love wet weather pictures. The colour the landscape takes on is just glorious. I was soaked and wet, but very pleased that I could be of service to them. Thanks for choosing me to do your wedding pictures.

Naomi & Darren September 09

Naomi & Darren are such a wonderful couple. These people have been so relaxed and unfazed by the whole preparation and experience. Naomi on the actual day gave no indication that she had experienced some dramas with the rings, and her engaging smile was on throughout most of the day, genuinely. I feel very gratified that they chose me to do their wedding photography, and really came to admire their bridal party and was treated with much respect and warmth. The wedding was in the All Saints church in North Parramatta, where my own sister got married in, and we went to Lake Parramatta for the pictures in the park and the reception was held at the elegant Pennant Hills Golf course. They day was fun and went very smoothly. The speeches at the reception were filled with lots of laughter and genuine warmth. A few days after the wedding I received a Thank you card from them for the day. They either sent it before they left on their honeymoon or on it. Either way, it was only the second time someone has done that so quickly, and was warmly appreciated. I know this couple is in for a great future.

Shallon & Kieran September 09

This couple were tremendous. They were such good fun on the day, and nothing was too much trouble at all. They managed to blend the Scottish and Australian influences into a very moving service where Kieran's family sung the bridal couple some songs in the Church and at the Reception. It was a very personal and special tribute to two wonderful people "who found not just reasons to be together, but discovered that they could not be apart from each other." As was said at the reception. I hope these pictures highlight a little of the warmth and fun they exuded and I had on the day. I am very grateful you chose Timeline to do your wedding. Thank you from Shayla my assistant at this wedding and I.

Sierra & Andrew September 09

Andrew is a very talented guitarist and I had photographed him on a few occasions and at the end of a Tommy Emmanuel concert in Sydney earlier this year I met the wonderful Sierra, Andrew's then girlfriend. I thought Sierra was such a wonderful person. I was taken by her genuine ability to be so expressive. I think I have caught her feelings in many of the pictures. There are 600 in all, though only 199 here on Facebook, just for ttheir friends and family to see in a more complete forum. On my blog I only have 60-80 images. The wedding was in the "Gong" and what a wonderful location. The sun was bright as hell, but I managed to capture the spirit of the occasion and day. I wish the absolute best to this wonderful couple. Thanks for choosing me to cover your wedding.

Keri & Tevi August 09

Keri & Tevi were a great couple and they were such a relaxed easy going couple. I found the whole party fun and exciting to be around, which is important for me. I want to have fun as well, I love what I do and try to have that come through the pictures and I think they certainly do here. Keri and Tevi have now gone to live in New Zealand and I think that there is a combination of Maori, Samoan and Tongan in their family gene pool which meant they REALLY knew how to party and have fun. Their reception was a scream. I had a lot of fun and feel that there is a long and happy life together for them. Thanks for choosing me to take your pictures you guys, it was an absolute pleasure.
