Christie & Marc - Jul 2008

Christie & Marc chose me to do their pictures and on the first meeting in their home I felt their warmth and sincerity. It was a great day to cover their event for them. They had their son Corey's naming day at the same time as their marriage and it was really a special atmosphere. Corey, was a little unhappy sometimes throughout the day, but no matter what, whenever someone sang Happy Birthday as he turned 1 as well, he would smile and became happy. It was interesting for me throughout the day singing Happy Birthday at a wedding, but hey it worked! Rebecca and I covered this event and I am very pleased how Springfield House seemed to shine on the day. It is a lovely reception venue, wish I owned it! A great couple, a great son, a great event and a great venue! Thanks for choosing me to cover your special day Christie, Marc and Corey! Another 800 images. Whew it's a big job to get through.

Jenny & Paul - Oct 2006

Jenny is the daughter of a man I Call Sifu ( chinese for Master). Her dad is a master photographer who took an interest in me some years ago and helped me with correcting my angles and enhancing the knowledge I had already learned. His gentle approach and kindness endeared me to him. Imagine my surprise and honour when he asked me to cover his daughters wedding. I was going through these pictures the other day and thought I would include the wedding on here so I could share them once again. I felt also that the international flavour and variety of weddings that I cover was missing from the sampling you could see on the blog thus far. Jenny & Paul are a fun couple who are really genuine and are very beautiful people. They entrusted their images to me and were really happy with the results. It was a great wedding and the food at the Marigold in China Town was amazing. We went to Glebe for the church pictures and the location shots which was a delightful part of town I don't get to often. Enjoy this photographic rewind. Where have the 2 years gone?

Jade & Matthew - July 2008

Some people may remember this young man who was a regular face on television in a long running sitcom here in Australia called Hey Dad (see You tube post below), and numerous television commercials. Matthew Krok married his beautiful bride, Jade last saturday. I was asked to cover the wedding by both sets of mothers as I had covered weddings for their respective daughters in unrelated weddings a few years previously. I was happy to do so and found Matthew and Jade to be so relaxed and warm. Inspite of the cold that was evident by the mottling of the skin and the strong breeze, they were so unfazed and so pleased to be married. It is unique to see such devotion to each other. They truly only had eyes for each other. The sun only peeked through the clouds occasionally on the day, and we went to La Perouse and Port Botany for pictures. They caused a bit of a flutter at KFC Drive through when they went thru on the way to the picture taking. It was interesting. They are a special couple and I was pleased to be of service to them in this photographic capacity. They are both great people and I look forward to watching their future together blossom and grow. The catering was done by one of Matthew's aunties, Linda, and the food was superb. The presentation and service from the young ladies involved was everything and more I have seen at the big end of town receptions and It was also a little surreal to be at their reception at Greenwich in Sydney's North, to see a number of young families whose weddings I had covered some years ago. I think I am getting old! or am I already there? Have a great time in Thailand and thank you for choosing me to cover your day Jade and Matthew.
